I have a dog that used to be extremely afraid of the vacuum cleaner. Whenever I would turn it on, she would get in the way of it and try to attack it...like it was chasing HER. I wish I could communicate to her that I have TOTAL CONTROL of the vacuum, and that I'm not after her at all, I'm just trying to clean up around her. As Christians, we are like that sometimes...when the trials and circumstances of life are so loud and crazy that they seem to be after us, we get in the way, full of fear, not remembering that God has complete CONTROL of the vacuum cleaner (the trials and troubles of our lives.) And sometimes it's not even about us at all, He might just be cleaning up something nearby:) So, the next time you feel like the great vacuum of life is AFTER YOU, just get out of the way and relax.
